Born April 1, 1970 in Fort Erie Canada, singer/songwriter Kim Lister started her career in her teenage years doing studio work with many musicians.

In her early 20's one of her greatest moments was singing the National Anthem in Ottawa with an audience of 26,000 people.

In 2000 Kim Lister met Lance Kiernan a professionally trained jazz guitarist who plays with The Platter's and the Ink Spots, formed a duo/trio Smooth Mooth, singing jazz standards frequently accompanied by Neil Nickafore on bass.

Kim Lister has continued to work with various musicians, she was formerly in a band The Heartbroken Souls which was nominated for best roots music in 2008 for The Hamilton Music Awards.

She worked at Grant Avenue Studios singing backups for Paul Reimens on a Chrismas CD, The Design of Hope with all proceeds going to charity. Kim Lister also worked with Sonny Del Rio on a radio bit commercial for the Canadian Idol winner Brian Melo produced by Bob Doidge.

Kim Lister has currently released her own solo CD Can You Imagine, produced by Michael Birthelmer.
